Waterford councillors to meet today for first meeting following summer break

Waterford councillors will meet today for their first meeting after the summer break.

The September plenary meeting of Waterford City and County Council takes place at the Civic Offices in Dungarvan at 2pm.

It comes after council meetings took a month-long break during the month of August.

The full meeting of the council is set to be a busy one, with a number of items on the agenda.

The summer festivals and the North Quays are among the items likely to be raised by councillors.

Meanwhile, the meetings of the three municipal districts are set to take place next week.
