Gardaí policing Limerick roads stopped two young drivers travelling at speeds that have ‘fatal consequences if something goes wrong’.

Gardaí clocked the drivers at 173 km/h on the M20, which is a 120 km/h zone.

Both drivers have court dates for dangerous driving and if convicted face a fine and disqualification.
