Delays are expected as roadworks take place on Rice Bridge in Waterford city today.

The inner lanes of the bridge will be closed from 10am to 2pm today.

This is to accommodate refurbishment works and the installation of cabling.

Waterford City and County Council has said that traffic management measures will be in place.

However, motorists are advised to expect some delays.

The council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the course of these works.
