Gardaí are investigating six separate burglary incidents after a number of homes and properties were targeted across Waterford over the past week.
Four of the burglaries were reported on Tuesday, March 10, with incidents in Hackettstown in Portlaw, Stradbally, Ballyvoile and Ballyneety in Dungarvan.
In each of those cases, the houses were ransacked, with it believed that jewellery and cash were stolen during the break-ins.
Gardaí said the burglaries happened during daylight hours.
CCTV has been obtained and Scenes of Crime Gardaí have visited the properties as investigations continue.
Another burglary was reported at a house in Kildalton, where a shed on the property was entered and a large amount of gardening equipment and tools was stolen.
That burglary is understood to have taken place sometime between March 8 and March 12, when it was discovered.
Among the items taken were a Stihl leaf blower, a Stihl MS170 chainsaw, a Stihl hedge strimmer and a Karcher K4 power washer.
Gardaí have warned anyone who may be offered those items for sale to consider where they came from and to contact Mooncoin Garda Station.

A sixth burglary happened on March 14 at 8.45pm on Union Road in Kilmacthomas, where a house was entered through the rear of the property.
Gardaí say CCTV footage shows three males at the property, and they are appealing to anyone who was in the area and who may have seen anything suspicious to come forward.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to contact the Crime Unit at Tramore Garda Station.
Gardaí are again urging the public to report any suspected crimes by calling 999 or 112, or their local station, or the confidential line on 1800 666 111.
