Emergency services attend scene of road traffic collision in Waterford city

Emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision in Waterford city this afternoon.

The incident involving a motorbike and a car occurred on Parnell Street at around 2:30pm.

Members of An Garda Síochána, the National Ambulance Service and Waterford Fire Service attended the scene.

It is understood that a man was treated for his injuries at the scene.

Parnell Street was closed for a period following the collision with diversions in place.

However, it has since reopened and the scene has been cleared.
