Waterford City and County Council has announced the works taking place on the N25 near Kilmacthomas

Delays are expected as a stop-go system is put in place on a busy road in County Waterford.

The traffic management system will be in place from this morning on the N25 at Ballybrack, just before Kilmacthomas.

This is to facilitate roadworks that are taking place from Thursday, October 29 to Friday, October 30.

The stop-go system will be in place from 9am to 5pm each day.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and use alternative routes where possible.
