ALERT: Delays expected as roadworks begin on busy road in Waterford city

Delays are expected as roadworks get underway on a busy road in Waterford city this morning.

Roadworks are taking place on Water Street from Thursday, July 23 to Friday, July 24.

A traffic management system will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Residents and road users have been advised that they may experience some temporary disruption.

In a statement, Waterford City and County Council thanked the public for their “patience, understanding and cooperation”.
