Gardaí are investigating burglaries at houses in Waterford in recent days.
In one incident, there was a break in at a house in Cluain A Laoi in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The suspect entered the house and was spotted by one of the occupants of the house. The suspect then fled taking a set of car keys with him.
The following day the car owner noticed the car had been entered and the contents disturbed. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who noticed anything.
Gardaí are also investigating a break in at a house in Briot Walk over the weekend.
The house was entered sometime between midday on Friday and 8pm on Sunday. A quantity of cash and a power bank were taken from the house.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area, or anyone who may have CCTV footage to make contact with Waterford Garda Station.
