Gardaí in the South East stopped an unaccompanied learner driver with no L plates at a checkpoint on Saturday night (September 15).
The driver tested positive for cannabis and alcohol, and was subsequently arrested by Cahir Gardaí in County Tipperary. The driver is set to appear in court.
