Tramore GAA Club has submitted a planning application to Waterford City and County Council

A GAA club in County Waterford is seeking planning permission for the redevelopment of its club grounds.

Mícheál Mac Craith (Tramore) GAA Club has submitted a planning application for the redevelopment of its grounds in Crobally Upper, Tramore.

Planning permission is being sought for 1.2 metre high ball-stop fencing surrounding the pitch areas.

New dugouts and a terrace barrier at the top of the existing dwarf wall are also planned.

As well as that, there are plans to install associated astroturf areas.

A number of associated site works would also be carried out.

The planning application was submitted by Mícheál Mac Craith GAA Club on October 13.

A decision by Waterford City and County Council is expected by December 7.
