Have you seen Maureen? Concerned family of missing 69-year-old appeals for information

Update: Following the discovery of a body earlier today (Wednesday November 1), the missing person appeal for Maureen O’Connor has been stood down. 

The concerned family of a 69-year-old woman missing for the past five days are seeking information on her whereabouts. 

According to Gardaí, Maureen O'Connor from Glengarrif in Co Cork is missing from her home in Skehill since Wednesday October 25. 

She is described as being approximately 5’6” in height and of a slim build with grey hair. 

Both Gardaí and Maureen’s family are concerned for her welfare.
 
Anyone with any information on Maureen's whereabouts is asked to contact Bantry Garda station on 027 20860, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
