Roadworks are being undertaken on the R671 in Clashmore in West Waterford

A stop-go system is in place on a busy road in County Waterford as work gets underway.

Roadworks are being undertaken on the R671 in Clashmore from Wednesday, October 21 to Friday, October 23.

A stop-go traffic management system will be in place for the duration of the works.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and to use alternative routes where possible.

Waterford City and County Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
