ALERT: Pay and display parking ‘gone down’ in parts of Waterford amid ‘technical problem’

The pay and display parking system has “gone down” in parts of County Waterford today.

A technical problem has meant that many on-street parking machines are out of order.

The issue is being experienced in Dungarvan, Tramore and parts of Waterford city.

Fine Gael councillor Niamh O’Donovan addressed the subject in a post on social media this morning.

In the Facebook post, Cllr O’Donovan wrote: “Pay and display parking has gone down in Dungarvan, Tramore and some of the city.”

“National technical problem with some types of machines on the street,” she added.
