Waterford gardaí issue appeal following mid-day crash

Gardaí are now appealing for witnesses to this incident and for the driver in question to contact the station

An Garda Síochána in Waterford are seeking the public’s assistance following a collision between a car and a pedestrian. 

Gardaí at Dungarvan Garda Station are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic incident on Davis Street in Dungarvan on Saturday, February 1, at approximately 1:30pm.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána stated, "A male driver in a black car exiting the Aldi car park knocked a female pedestrian to the ground.  The driver remained at the scene and gave some details to the injured party."

However, gardaí are now appealing for witnesses to this incident and for the driver in question to contact Gardaí in Dungarvan on 058 48600.
