Horse medication stolen during series of house break-ins in Waterford

Gardaí in Waterford are investigating a number of house break-ins in recent days around the county, during which horse medication and feed was stolen from a stables in one incident. 

Gardaí are appealing for information in relation to a break in at a house in Elm Park.

The glass on a door at the side of the house was broken to gain entry between 6.30pm and 7pm on Wednesday.

Four men were seen fleeing the house. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious behaviour in the Elm Park area to contact Tramore Garda Station.

Meanwhile, gardaí received a report of a break-in at a house in Brentwood Crescent on Wednesday, January 11.

The front window was forced open to gain entry between 1.30pm and 8.45pm. Upstairs bedrooms were ransacked in the house. Anyone with information is asked to contact Waterford Garda Station.

Gardaí in Lismore are investigating a burglary that occurred in Sluggara, Affane, Cappoquin, overnight between Wednesday and Thursday, January 11 and 12.

A JFC pink wheelbarrow, horse feed and medication were taken from the stables.

Gardaí ae appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles or persons in the area between 8.30pm on Wednesday and 9am on Thursday to contact Lismore/Dungarvan Garda Station.
