Ár mBealaí Ceilteacha will air on Tuesday nights beginning on June 11 on TG4
An award-winning Welsh actor explores Waterford and beyond with his daughters in a new 3-part series on TG4.
Join celebrated Welsh singer-songwriter and actor Ryland Teifi (Cardigan, Ceredigion) and his daughters, Lowri and Cifa (An Rinn, Co Waterford), as they embark on a road trip across the picturesque landscapes of Ireland and Wales in their new 3-part series ‘Ár mBealaí Ceilteacha’.
This heartfelt road trip covers six counties, celebrating the rich cultural tapestry, history, and natural beauty of their two beloved homelands, two regions that form one Celtic Route.
In episode one, Ryland, Lowri and Cifa begin their adventure in Waterford as they visit Mooney's pub, where they receive a send-off in song from their mother Róisín Clancy and cousins Dónal Clancy and Evan Grace before hitting the road to some of Waterford’s famous landmarks and towns; Dungarvan, Lismore Castle, Waterford City, Waterford Crystal and much more.
In episode two, the trio venture on to Wicklow, where they meet Hilary Healey, a shaman and explore the serene landscapes of Glendalough and Powerscourt. They climb Ireland’s longest timber tower slide and discover Avondale House, the home of Charles Stuart Parnell.
‘Ar mBealaí Ceilteacha’ is a mesmerizing exploration of heritage, music, and family, weaving together the stories of two regions into one unforgettable journey.
Working in partnership with Celtic Routes, Tinint (Tinopolis broadcast media group) produced 'Our Celtic Routes' for TG4 (Ár mBealaí Ceilteacha) and for S4C (Ein Llwybrau Celtaidd).
