There was excitement at Waterford Airport ahead of the bank holiday weekend as a World War II plane landed to refuel.
The DC-3 plane - which is owned by a history group from Switzerland - travelled down from Cork before stopping in Waterford.
The plane is a propeller-driven airliner manufactured by the Douglas Aircraft Company, which had a lasting effect on the airline industry in the 1930s to 1940s and World War II.

This aircraft originally a wartime transport, and was built in 1943.
Fergal Daly, who shared video footage of the DC-3 landing at Waterford Airport on Friday, commented: "What a fabulous sight and just shows how important Waterford airport is to the South East."
