Waterford FC has announced that the club has signed a 50-year contract with Waterford City and County Council for the use of the Regional Sports Centre (RSC).

Waterford FC has played its home games at the RSC for the last 30 years since 1993, and in a statement the club said that "after winning promotion to the Premier Division for the 2024 League of Ireland season, is delighted to secure the RSC for the long-term future, with the recent signing of a 50-year contract with Waterford City and County Council."

The club also recently shared images of their new home jersey for the 2024 season on social media and fans are loving it.

The two-tone blue strip is sure to make a few Christmas wishlists late on after being warmly received by Blues supporters.

One fan said: "I love this jersey and better home jersey than last fewer seasons. Great design and looks well."

Others described it as "a lovely jersey" and wondered when it would be available. The jersey will be available from New Balance in January so Christmas shoppers will have to wait.
