Met Éireann has issued status yellow rain warnings for Waterford, Cork and Kerry
Met Eireann is urging caution in Waterford due to the risk of localised flooding and poor visibility this weekend.
Status yellow rain warnings impacting three counties, including Waterford, have been issued for Saturday evening as the weather set to take a turn compared to recent days.
"Spells of heavy rain with the possibility of a few thundery downpours," states the warning which applies to Waterford Cork and Kerry.
According to Met Éireann, possible impacts include localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.

The warnings for Cork and Kerry will be valid from 5pm on Saturday until 5am on Sunday while the warning for Waterford is valid from 8pm on Saturday until 8am on Sunday.
In its latest forecast, Met Éireann says Saturday will be a "dull and breezy day with scattered outbreaks of rain in the west and southwest at first, gradually spreading northeastwards across the country through the day."
The forecast adds that any rain will turn heavier in the south and southwest towards evening. Highest temperatures of between 12 and 15 degrees can be expected.
