Planning permission has for 44 new homes to be built in Dunhill has been sought from Waterford City and County Council.
The permission has been requested by Kent Homes Ltd.
The housing development would be in Ballynageeragh, Dunhill, Co. Waterford.
The area is currently zoned for a residential development as part of the Waterford County Development Plan
2022–2028.

It would consist of 14 semi-detached four-bed homes, one detached four bed, 18 three beds, four semi-detached two beds, one two bed terraced unit, four single-storey detached homes, and two single-storey three bed homes.
Permission has also been requested for all associated site works such as car parking spaces, a new entrance from the road, and connections to services.
A footpath connecting the site to the village of Dunhill is also proposed as well as a number of open green spaces.
The village of Dunhill is accessible by public transport through the TFI Local Link as well as the Bus Éireann service.
There is a local primary school with a number of secondary schools on offer in the nearby Waterford City.
The planning application was made on October 9th and a decision is due by the 3rd of December.
Submissions must be made by the 12th of November.
