It will be generally cloudy this morning (Thursday) with patchy rain, drizzle and mist, according to Met Eireann.

It will brighten up a little during the afternoon and evening with some sunny intervals developing but there will be scattered showers too.

Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees, warmest in the southeast, in a light to moderate westerly wind.

Tonight

Tonight there will be a mix of clear spells and scattered showers. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees, with light westerly winds becoming southerly.

Tomorrow

On Friday morning, there will be sunny spells and scattered showers. It will turn cloudier at times during the afternoon and evening as a band of more frequent and heavier showers moves eastwards. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees with light to moderate south to southwest winds, increasing moderate to fresh and gusty in Atlantic coastal counties.
