Bright or sunny spells this morning and showers in north Ulster. Cloudier in Munster with outbreaks of showery rain developing and spreading northwards this afternoon and evening. Some drier intervals also, the best of these in the east. Highest temperatures generally 16 to 19 degrees with light to moderate southwest winds.

Scattered showers will continue tonight with mostly light southerly winds. Rather cloudy, turning misty in places overnight. Heavy rain and strengthening winds will develop in the southwest before morning. Lowest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees.
