Waterford FC to play European football next season
Waterford’s return to Europe follows Cork City’s 2-1 victory over Bohemians in Monday’s FAI Cup semi-final replay at Turners Cross.
The last time Waterford played in Europe they were beaten 6-1 over two legs by Bordeaux in the European Cup Winners' Cup first round.
The Blues secured at least a Top 4 finish in the Premier Division after a 3-1 win away to Bohemians last Friday night in Dalymount Park.
They are at home in the League to Dundalk this Friday night at 7:45pm.
