Uisce Éireann is working to restore water to Tramore

A representative from Uisce Éireann has predicted that water supply will be returned to Queen's Street and surrounding areas by 6pm today. 

Uisce Éireann have said that water will be available on Main Street of Tramore for those affected by the burst pipe. 

Those availing of the water on Main Street must bring their own buckets or bottles. 

While Uisce Éireann plans to see water access restored by 6pm today, put-out Waterford residents should check water.ie for the latest updates on water supply.

Uisce Éireann said: “Every effort is being made to complete this repair work as quickly as possible.”

The state utility said that the reasons for the burst pipe are “very complex”.
