Some of the 30 images which have been selected for the final - see all 30 on the Visit Waterford Facebook page
Members of the public are being urged to selected their favourite image from the 30 that have been selected for the final of the #DiveIntoWaterford photography competition.
Visit Waterford launched the competition in May as part of its tourism campaign, encouraging visitors to the county to share their photographic moments on social media over the summer period.
The finalists have now been announced and these images will now be posted on the Visit Waterford Facebook page, in order for the public to vote for the winning photograph.
In addition, all of the images will be showcased at Mount Congreve Gardens in a #DiveIntoWaterford exhibition, which will be officially opened on Culture Night - Friday, September 20 - where the winner will be presented with their prize.

Speaking about the competition and upcoming exhibition, Chair of Visit Waterford Sara Dolan said: “We are delighted that there has been such an incredible response to this competition."
"There are some fantastic images of Waterford submitted; we wanted this to be a photographic celebration of all that Waterford has to offer from its rich heritage to its sublime landscape and stunning coastline - and everyone who took part needed no direction on that, the images capture the essence of this fantastic county.”
The winner of the competition will also be awarded a wonderful overnight stay at Dooley’s Hotel in Waterford plus a day out for themselves and three of their friends so that they can dive into all that Waterford has to offer.
They will be treated to a day out in Waterford beginning in the city with four Freedom of Waterford passes from Waterford Treasures, followed by brunch for four at The Stables Cafe with a jaunt to Tramore.
After brunch, they can enjoy access at the Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens followed by an adrenalin-filled afternoon at The Dunmore East Adventure Centre, before rounding off the day with a delicious dinner for four at East Pier in Dunmore East.
