Following her death, Hairspray Ireland paid tribute to Dolores with a heartfelt message on social media which read,

"It’s with tremendous sadness giving you the news that Dolores passed away peacefully last night with her family. Dolores was passionate about her work, family, and friends and she loved her amazing dedicated team and fantastic customers at Hairspray and the Hair Cub

"25 years ago Dolores brought hair extensions and wigs to the mainstream in Ireland working tirelessly to strive to be the best version of herself while inspiring and training so many talented people to also be the best version of themselves.

"This vision was created through the groundbreaking hair companies she founded over 2 decades ago with the retail chain Hairspray and Hair Club.
