A drunk motorist caught driving with an open container of alcohol has been arrested.
According to An Garda Síochána, the arrest was made during a Roads Enforcement Operation over the Bank Holiday weekend by Bridewell Gardaí.
The driver was stopped at a checkpoint in Dublin 7 and failed a roadside test.
Gardaí are urging motorists to remember to never drive under the influence of an intoxicant.
