Hiding beneath all the red fur is a 2013 red Volvo V40 which is currently advertised on Facebook Marketplace with a €4,000 price tag. The eye-catching motor is a 2.0 diesel model with manual transmission and 211,000 miles on the clock.

Inside there is a black leather interior and digital display. The UK-registered car also comes with two keys and a full service history.

If you're wondering why it was covered in red fur, according to the advert the car was previously used as a promotional vehicle.

And if the fur isn't for you, then you'll be happy to hear that the seller notes the car "can be stripped off to the original red paint underneath".

The advert has sparked a chain of potential buyers jokingly asking if a car wash, dry cleaner, or even a vacuum are needed to clean the car's exterior.

"Do you take this to a car wash or a dry cleaner?" joked one Facebook user, while another asked: "Do they use a carpet cleaner or a hoover to clean it?"

One user said: "Imagine having to hoover the inside and outside of your car."

Commenters also made comparisons between the car's unusual fluffy red exterior and children's characters.

"This is a great way to commit to an Elmo costume for fancy dress," quipped one Reddit user.

Another user declared: "What in the Clifford the Big Red Dog is this," which prompted the witty reply: "You don't drive it, you take it for a walk."
