Local authority says repairs will take a number of days to complete

Motorists in a number of areas in County Waterford are being advised of potential delays later this week due to planned roadworks.

In a public notice, the local authority says a stop-go system will be in operation on a section of the R675, close to Dungarvan, at the Crooked Bridge from this Tuesday, December 17 until Friday, December 20.

The restrictions are being put in place to facilitate bridge repairs.

Separately, motorists are being advised that a stop-go system will be in place outside AIB at Main Street, Lismore this Thursday evening.

Waterford City and County Council says restrictions will be in place between 6pm and 12 midnight to facilitate road surfacing works.

While both roads will remain open to traffic, motorists are being advised to expect potential delays when planning any journeys.
