There have been further delays to an investigation into the traffic problems at the Farronshoneen Roundabout in Waterford city.
Independent councillor Declan Barry raised the issue at the December Metropolitan District meeting of Waterford City and County Council.
Cllr Barry said: “I’ve raised this for the last couple of months and it’s thought that this report should be in regarding the Farronshoneen Roundabout.
“So there’s a survey that took place I think back in May and the second one was taking place around the 17th / 18th of October.
“So I want to know can we have the results of that there now and what action, if any, is going to be taken on foot of this report.”

In response to Cllr Barry, Senior Engineer Paul Johnston said that the plan was for a workshop to be held with councillors in January regarding the contents of the report.
Mr Johnston added that the results of the report would then come before the Transport Infrastructure SBC.
Cllr Barry also raised the issue of the roundabout at the previous Metropolitan meeting.
At that meeting, Senior Engineer Michael Murphy told him that the report was due to be brought before the Transport Infrastructure SBC on November 20.
Mr Murphy said that that meeting was deferred until December 9, at which point the report was due to be discussed.
However, it is understood that councillors have still yet to be presented with the findings of the report.
The report was commissioned after changes were made to the roundabout under an Active Travel Scheme.
The approach to the roundabout from Farran Park was controversially reduced to one lane without the permission of local councillors.
Subsequently, over 1800 people signed a petition calling for a review of the roundabout.
