A Waterford student has received a special medal upon her graduation from the University of Limerick.

Jean Barry, a native of The Folly, celebrated her graduation from University of Limerick recently.

Jean, who was conferred with a degree in English and Linguistics with TESOL, was also awarded the Silver Medal from UL’s Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences for achieving the highest grades within the Faculty.

Throughout the week at UL, more than 3,600 students will be conferred with degrees, including 73 doctoral students.
