Run with Ray is back! RTÉ Radio 1’s The Ray D’Arcy Show hits the road this week with runs in Waterford and four other counties.

Ray will be broadcasting live from the South East Technological University Campus in Waterford city on Tuesday afternoon with the programme featuring a range of local stories and guests bringing listeners along on the journey.

Ray will then join the starting line at 5:30pm with runners who have signed up to 'Run with Ray' for 5km.

Registration is still open! The team are looking for runners, joggers and walkers from across the country to come along for a fun afternoon of craic, conversation, and community. You can apply here: https://www.runwithray.ie/#register

The aim of the week-long 5k events and outside broadcasts is to get communities outdoors and moving. On this,  Ray D’Arcy says: “It's one of our favourite weeks of the year, when we don our shorts, runners and t- shirts and get to run with our listeners. To make it even better this year - it's looking like we are in for a good run of weather! (pun intended!)

"So, if you're around this week, and anywhere near Tramore Valley Park, Cork, SETU Waterford, Kilkenny Castle Park, Oldbridge Estate on the border of Meath and Drogheda, or Newbridge House in Donabate, we would love to see ye!” he added.

Make sure you don't miss it!
