Santa Claus is coming to town! Waterford bar is ready to meet the main man

The cost of Santa's grotto and elves workshop is just €10.

It's the most wonderful time of the year indeed for Waterford's Paddy Brown's bar and restaurant as they gear up to host none other than Santa Claus himself.

Father Christmas, along with the help of his trusty elves, are set for a beautiful grotto and workshop in the beloved bar, in the run up to the very special day that awaits us all on December 25.

Mr Claus and his buddies are hoping to meet as many children as possible, and bring the holiday cheer and excitement to each visitor.

Santa Claus will be in the bar and restaurant, which is located along Paddy Brown's Road, on Monday, December 23 between 12pm-3pm, and 4pm-8pm.

His last visit will be on the following day, Christmas Eve, where he will reside from 9:30am-3pm, and 4pm-6pm before he sets off on his sleigh to deliver gifts to the children of the world.

Bookings can be made via phone on (089) 245 9888, through email at WaterfordSanta@gmail.com, or admission can be paid at the door on the day.

Alternatively, Paddy Brown's has teamed up with Santa and decided to run a competition to be in with a chance of winning a free magical visit to the grotto for the family.

To enter, you can head over to the bar's Facebook page here, and by liking the status, tagging three friends and commenting Santa's favourite reindeer (hint, he has a red nose), and sharing it, you are entered into the drawer which will be held on Friday, December 13.
