Waterford hotel brings home Wedding Hotel of the Year at prestigious awards

The 4 star Dungarvan Park Hotel is celebrating new awards success having been named Wedding Hotel of the Year for the Munster Region at the Irish Hotel Awards which took place Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

The awards were announced at a bustling ceremony at the four-star Johnstown Estate in Co. Meath, where hospitality teams from across the industry gathered to celebrate and watch as a number of top awards were doled out.

The awards criteria involve a judging panel visit and overnight stay at each of the hotels, ensuring that they have an authentic view of a hotel's strengths and stand out offerings. When the judging team visited Dungarvan Park a wedding was taking place so they got to see first hand the high calibre of wedding hosting the hotel delivers.
