Members of the public are being advised that the public toilets located on the Prom in Tramore will remain closed until further notice after damage was caused during Storm Ashley.
Waterford was placed under a status yellow wind warning on Sunday as the first named storm of the winter made its way across Ireland.
In a public notice confirming the closure, the local authority says the nearest public facilities in the seaside town are located at Strand Road, Tramore.
Waterford City and County Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused by the closure.

The nature of damage caused by Storm Ashley has not been confirmed publicly and there has been no indication as to how long any repair works will take or the cost of such works.
