Mixed views as 'trendy' new seating is unveiled in Waterford
There has been a mixed reaction on social media to new seating installed in Waterford City.
The Waterford City Centre Facebook page shared a picture of a new bench at the Apple Market with its followers. The picture was captioned: "Some trendy new seating on the The Apple Market."
A number of local responded with one critic saying, "made more for design than comfort" while a second chimed in, "designed to ‘not’ sit on for long!"

Others pointed out that "it would be better with a back on it" but others were happy with the addition to the cityscape.
"At last," "smashing," and "beautiful" other comments read.
