Lucky escape as huge tractor and trailer overturn near busy Waterford shops

Emergency services in Waterford have issued a safety alert after a trailer overturned on a busy road in Waterford City.

Waterford Fire & Rescue Service posted online and said: "Our crews recently responded to an overturned trailer incident in Waterford City. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured, but this serves as an important reminder for all drivers:."

They then posted a series of tips to avoid disaster.

Secure Your Load: Always ensure your trailer is properly loaded and secured. Overloaded or uneven loads can cause instability.

Check Your Equipment: Inspect your trailer’s tires, lights, and hitch connections before every trip. Faulty equipment can lead to dangerous situations.
