Investigation underway after lock at disabled toilet in Waterford park was damaged

Gardaí appealing to public for information over an act of criminal damage to a disability facility in a Waterford playground

GARDAÍ are appealing for information from members of the public after a lock was broken on the disabled toilet at a playground in County Waterford.

The incident occurred at Lismore playground car park, sometime between midnight and 8am on Thursday, June 8.

It is unclear if the act was reckless or malicious but gardai have confirmed an investigation into an incident of criminal damage is now underway.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dungarvan garda station.
