A Waterford library will be closed for almost three months due to major refurbishment works.
That's according to Waterford City and County Council, which confirmed Tramore Library will be shut to the public for eleven weeks from Tuesday June 6.
The closure will facilitate the refurbishment and installation of My Open Library, which is an unstaffed self-service library amenity.
When it reopens, My Open Library will ensure that Tramore Library will be accessible to the public from 8am – 10pm, seven days a week for borrowing and returning, printing, photocopying, internet access and access to study spaces.

Alternative nearby branches available to the public during the works include Ardkeen Library and Dunmore East Library.
