Irish Restaurant Awards announce number of Waterford winners

Waterford winners have been announced ahead of the upcoming Irish Restaurant Awards.
The awards were held in the Great Southern Hotel in Killarney Tuesday, March 27 and 17 categories were presented.
Momo took home the accolade of Best Restaurant and The Pub of the Year went to Tully's Bar.
The Best Cafe crown went to La Alegria Cafe and the Best Newcomer accolade went to Eamo and Ro.
Geoff's Cafe Bar was awarded Best Gastro Pub and the Best Hotel and Guesthouse was awarded to the House Restaurant at the Cliff House Hotel.
Daniel Zachorawiecz of the Tannery Dungarvan was crowned Best Restaurant Manager, Best Chef went to Luis Martin of the Old Couch Cafe and Shane Gater of Mezze took home the Employee Excellence Award.
Waterford's Local Food Hero went to Fergal Walsh and Caitriona Keating of Dun Artisan Bakery.
The winners will go on to represent Waterford at the All-Ireland Irish Restaurant Awards that take place at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin 4 on May 20.
