The National Lottery is urging all players in the Waterford area to check their tickets
Christmas has come early for one lucky Waterford Lotto player after successfully matching five numbers plus the bonus in Saturday night’s Lotto scooping an incredible €120,996.
The numbers for Saturday night’s Lotto were: 16, 19, 25, 41, 46, 47 and the Bonus was 40.
The unknown player purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on Friday, December 12, from Centra, Farran Park, Upper Grange Road, Waterford.
The National Lottery is urging all players in the Waterford area to check their tickets carefully and if you’re holding the winning ticket, be sure to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of your prize.

Emma Monaghan, spokesperson for the National Lottery said: "Last night’s Lotto draw brought fantastic news for one of our players in Co. Waterford, who scooped €120,996! We’re encouraging everyone to check their tickets today. It’s always exciting to see players win big, and we can’t wait to hear how this winner celebrates!"
There was no winner of the Lotto jackpot worth €2,666,229. However, in total, over 73,000 players won prizes in the Lotto & Lotto Plus draws.
This included the Waterford winner of the Match 5 + Bonus prize of €120,996, who is set to be revealed in the coming days.
