RIP Catherine O' Byrne
Tributes have poured in for Waterford women Catherine O' Byrne who died recently surrounded by her loving family.
Catherine was from Grange Heights in Waterford City and died on Tuesday July 15.
Catherine will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Jack; her daughters Mary, Ruth, and Kate; her adoring grandchildren Grace, Mary-Kate, Jack, Sadie, Eliza, Billy and Giles; her brother Maurice; and her sons-in-law Kieran, Martin, and Michael. Catherine will be fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many friends.
The O’Byrne family have thanked Dr. Mike Henry in Cork University Hospital and Prof. Mark Rogan and all the medical staff in University Hospital Waterford for the exceptional support and care Catherine received throughout her illness.
The O’Byrne family have also kindly thanked all the staff of Delany's Pharmacy, Johnstown, Waterford City.
Funeral Arrangements:
Catherine’s Reposal will take place at the Family Home, in Grange Heights X91DNY6 on Thursday the 17th of July from 5pm until 7pm sharp.
Catherine’s Requiem Mass will take place on Friday the 18th of July at 10:30am in St. Joseph and St. Benildus Church, Newtown, Waterford City, after which Catherine will be laid to rest in St. Declan’s Cemetery, Tramore, Co. Catherines’s Funeral Cortege will leave her Family Home at approximately 10am to arrive for her Requiem Mass.
Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Catherine, with one mourner writing,
"Deepest Sympathy to Jack and family on the death of Catherine.. such a lovely lady..
may her gentle sole rest in peace".

Another message said, "Heartfelt condolences to Jack, Mary, Ruth, Kate and all the family, Catherine was a wonderful lady, may she rip. Thinking of you all at this difficult time xxx".
