RIP Michael O' Sullivan
Tributes have poured in for Waterford man who died tragically in hospital days after a motorcycle collision in Tramore.
Michael O' Sullivan was a loving husband to his wife and father of four who are devastated by the tragic loss.
Michael was from Cullencastle, Tramore in Waterford and died in hospital peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday July 11 2025.
He will be sadly missed and is lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife Lillian, his son Nicholas, his daughters Fiona, Heather and Rebecca; his treasured and adoring grandchildren Mya, Maisie, Dolly, Frankie, Gustav, James, Katie and Finn.
Michael will be forever remembered by his loving parents Michael and Mary, his sisters Margaret and Clare; all his brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, co-workers and many many friends.
The O’Sullivan family made special thanks to all the emergency services medical carers and all the staff in University Hospital Waterford who helped tirelessly supporting Michael before he passed.
Funeral Arrangements:
Michael’s reposal will take place at The Family Home, Cullencastle, Tramore X91PY29 on Monday the 14th of July from 5pm until 7pm Sharp.
Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Michael, with one mourner writing,
"Deepest condolences to Lillian, Nicholas, Fiona, Heather and Rebecca. Michael and Mary. Grandkids, extended family and friends. Michael was a true gentleman and kind soul. He was more than a neighbour, he was a close family friend and always offered his time and knowledge to help us in any way he could. May Michael rest in peace. He will be truly missed."

Another message said, "I have lovely memories of working with Michael during my time in Eirgen. He was a gentleman first, last and always with a calm ready smile and helping hand. Thank you Michael. A bed of heaven to you."
"Lillian, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved Michael. Thinking of you, yours and Michael's family, and all of those who grieve this tremendous loss. May he rest in peace x Sincere condolences," another message said.
