Tributes pour in for Waterford woman cherished by all who knew her
Tributes have poured in for Waterford woman Lily Rowe (née Hannigan) who is remembered by all her her community for her true nature and gentle heart.
Lily was from Old Boley, Barntown, Wexford and formerly Camphire in Cappoquin in Waterford and was the beloved wife of Joe and loving mother of Sinéad, Michelle, Cormac and Kevin.
She will be very sadly missed by her husband, daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, son-in-law Eric, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements:
Removal shall take place on Monday morning, 19th May, to St. Alphonsus' Church, Barntown for Funeral Mass at 12.00 noon followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Lily, with one mourner writing,
"Sincere sympathy to Joe and family and the Hannigan family, Camphire on the passing of Lily. In her early years she was quite a talented athlete but I remember her best while picking raspberries at Tourin House as part of a Summer job. Great fun. May she rest in peace."

Another message said, "Sincere sympathies to Joe, Sinead, Michelle, Cormac and Kevin and to the extended families on the untimely passing of your beloved wife and mother Lily. Her beautiful nature is within and mirrored in her children and will always live on. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time."
"I'm so sorry to hear of Lily's passing. She was a lovely kind woman. She had a beautiful smile. She was very welcoming to me at Wexford golf club. She was always very friendly to anyone she met. God rest her. God bless her family. May she sleep gently with the angels," another person said.
"Sincere condolences Joe, Cormac, Sinead, Michelle, Kevin and all the Rowe and Hannigan families. Lily was a true lady with a caring and gentle heart. Taken way too soon and an awful loss to those closest to her. Rest in peace now Lily." another wrote.
