Investigation underway into criminal damage of cars in Waterford

Gardaí in Waterford are investigating two incidents in which cars were damaged in Waterford recently. 

The first incident occurred between 8pm on July 4th to 10am on July 5th, in which a red Mazda Demio Hatchback, 132 C registration was damaged at St Alphonsus Road in Waterford city, in an attempt to break into the vehicle. 

Gardaí have requested if you observed anything suspicious to please Contact Unit A at Waterford Garda Station on 051 303500.

In a similar incident, two males were observed attempting to break in to a 07 Silver Nissan Note in Lower Newtown at approximately 1.30am on July 5th, 2023.

Gardaí have asked anyone who observed anyone acting suspiciously near this vehicle to please contact unit B Waterford on 051 305300.
