Laptop and power tools among items stolen during car break-ins in Waterford

Gardaí are investigating a series of break-ins in multiple areas of a Waterford town. 

All five of the thefts occurred in Portlaw in the early hours of Monday morning (May 8) between 1am and 8am. 

A large number of power tools was taken from a van in Cuirt An Clochair, while a laptop was taken from a car in The Woodlands and tools were taken from a van in Coolfin. 

Additionally, a drill was taken from a van on Elm Road and a sum of cash was taken from a car in The Woodlands. 

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact them in Portlaw Garda Station.
