Gardaí in Waterford are investigating the theft of two valuable electric bikes in the past week.
On Tuesday, March 14, at lunchtime, an electric bike was stolen from outside Waterford Credit Union on Parnell Street.
The stolen bike is an Orbea black electric bike with green trim on the handle bars.
"The bike was locked so it would have taken the person some effort to open and remove it. If you observed anyone in the area acting suspiciously please contact Gardaí at Waterford Garda Station," a garda spokesperson said.
Gardaí in Waterford are also investigating the theft of a grey electric scooter which was parked and locked outside Apache Pizza on Johns Street in Waterford City on Thursday, March 16.
The lock was damaged and removed from the scooter between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Waterford Garda Station.
