The Waterford senior camogie team have learned their opponents for this year's Championship bid.

Waterford have been drawn with Galway, Kilkenny, Dublin and Derry in Group 2 of the All-Ireland senior Championship.

Group one sees Tipperary, Clare, Limerick, Wexford and reigning All-Ireland champions Cork.

Waterford bowed out at the quarter-final stage at the hands of groupmates Galway last July, falling short by three points in a fiercely contested game.

“It’s that time of year again and we’re delighted to announce the Glen Dimplex Premier Junior, Intermediate and Senior Camogie Championship draws,” began Brian Molloy, Uachtarán of the Camogie Association.

“These championships represent the heart and soul of our game, showcasing the passion, dedication, and talent of players across the country.

“I urge everyone who enjoys a great day out to mark their calendars for these key dates and come and support their teams. This year’s Glen Dimplex Championships are set to be a memorable one, filled with excitement and unforgettable moments.”

Waterford kick-off their League campaign this Saturday, February 22, away to All-Ireland champions Cork at Supervalu Páirc Uí Chaoimh at 2pm.
