Driver and wanted suspect travelling at speed of 178km/h arrested in Waterford

This morning Carlow Roads Policing Unit arrested a driver travelling at a speed of 178km/h.
The Gardaí were conducting a speed check on the M9 when the car was detected.
The driver failed to stop for Gardaí and was subsequently apprehended in Waterford for dangerous driving.
The passenger of the vehicle was a suspect and wanted for questioning regarding a separate incident of theft.
The passenger and driver have both been charged and will appear before court.
