Man dies in Waterford workplace incident

A man has died following a workplace incident in County Waterford this Thursday. 

The man was working on a car that rolled off a hoist at Newtown in Kilmacthomas this morning, resulting in serious head and chest injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
